          * 7 7 0 5  NEWS  [October 25-29, 1677]
              Stolen the 16 instant from Mr.  Thomas Shore  of Shordley in the Parish of Hope,  and  County of Flint, 2 gray Mares:
          The one bath all her paces,  a little flea-bitten  about the head, with a lump on her left thigh about the bigness of a Crab,
          about 10 years old; The other a short broad Mare about 8 years old, both short bob tails. Whoever gives notice of the said
          Mares to Mr. Roger Brereton in Chester,  or to Mr. William Ledsam at the General Letter Office, London, shall have 2ili.
          Reward.



          * 7 8 0 1  NEWS  [March 18-21, 1678]  {Julian Calendar. March 18-21, 1677}

              These are to give  Notice, That the General Post-Office is  removed from Bishopsgate street, to Lombard-street, to Sir
         Robert Viner's House.



          * 7 8 0 2  NEWS  [April 4-8, 1678]

              All persons are desired to take Notice, That there is setled a safe and constant conveyance of Letters and Pacquets by
          Post  three  times  in  every week  upon  the  usual  Post  days  to  and  from  the  City  of London,  and  the  Towns  hereafter   -
          mentioned  in  the  Counties  of  Surrey  and  Sussex,  viz.  Epsom,  Leatherhead,  Darking,  Gilford,  Famham,  Godalmin,
          Haslemore,  Midhurst,  Petworth,  Horseham,  Arondel,  Stayning,  Shoreham,  Brighthemston,  Lewes,  and Eastboum, So  that a
          Correspondence may be had between all  or any the said Places. And no Money is  required till the Letters are delivered,
          and then only such Rates as are established by Act of Parliament.



          * 7 8 0 3  NEWS  [July 8-11, 1678]

              These are to give Notice, That there goes a Post from the General Letter-Office in London to Tunbridge Wells, every
          day in  the week,  (except Sunday)  and  returns from  thence  accordingly,  and  will continue  so  to  do,  during the  resort of
          Company thither.


          * 7 8 0 4  NEWS  [July 11-15, 1678]

              These  are  to  give  Notice,  That  for  the  convenience  of carrying  Letters  to Bedford,  and  Parts  adjacent,  a  Post  is
          designed to run three times a week between London and Bedford, by the way of Brickhill and Ampthill, and from Bedford to
         London; as  often the Stage from Brickhill to Bedford, will begin on Saturday the 20th of this instant July, and from Bedford
          to London on the 21 day of the same month; the Post house at Bedford will be at the Swan Inn, and the Letters for Ampthill
          will be left at the White-Hart atAmpthill, by Mr.Anthony Rush Postmaster at Bedford.


          * 7 8 0 5  NEWS  [July 18-22, 1678]


              These are to give Notice, That a Stage is set up for carrying of Letters from London to Bedford, by the way of Brickil
          and Ampthil, three times every week, and back again from Bedford to London by the same way; the Post house at Bedford is
          kept at the Swan  Inn, and  the Letters to Ampthil and Places adjacent, will be left  at the White  Hart  in Ampthil, and the
          Postmaster will call in his return to London  at the same places, for  all Letters that shall be directed for London, or any
          other Post upon that Road.


          * 7 8 0 6  NEWS  [August 12-15, 1678]

              These are to give Notice, that during His Majesties being at Windsor,  there will go a Post thither every Evening from
         the General Letter-Office in Lumbard-street.
