Scouting Around the World  Norway

The planned 1918 camp was cancelled due to the influenza pandemic (the Spanish flu), and the Norwegian
Scout Association ' s third national camp took place in Trondhjem 5-12 July, 1920. 900 Boy Scouts participated,
including for the first time troops from Northern Norway. Again, pre-erected tents were used and the meals were
served at a nearby school. A post office is mentioned in the camp report, but did not have a special postmark.

300 Norwegian and 21 British Boy Scouts attended the 1921 district camp for the M0re Scouts. The camp was
located on the Aarn farm , one hour march from Molde town. where the Scouts had arrived by boat. The Scouts
gave a large display in Molde for 1,000 spectators, where all troops plus the camp orchestra participated.
