" Sco ut Weeks" started to become popular in th e I920 ' s, for good reasons. T hey gave an opportuni ty to show th e
public what Sco utin g is, and contributed fi nancia lly to the Scout troops. Bergen di strict held suc h a Scout Week
in I925, from 27 March to 5 Ap ril , and included in the event was a large Scout Exhibition. The exhibit ion
encompassed Troop exhibits (canoe ca mp, troop assembly room, scout radio, cam p model s, field hospitals, etc.)
and workshops (shoemaker, carpenter, book-binder, electrici ans) show in g outdoor and indoor Scouting activ iti es.
