Card from Yap in the western German Caroline Islands, Pacific Ocean, to long-distant Frederiksted,
Danish West Indies in the Caribbean. Five markings track the journey half way around the planet.
Tremendous hops from tiny Yap on 30 March, westward by sea across the Indian Ocean, through the
Suez Canal and across the Mediterranean to Brindize, Italy. Then by rail to Muenchen (Munich),
Germany, arriving 14 May; by rail and cross-channel vessel to London 16 May; and one final jump by
sea across the Atlantic Ocean to Christiansted, St. Croix, D.W.I., arriving Frederiksted 13 June.
