                             At the RPSL: The Royal  Philatelic Society, London was incorporated on lst March 1907, a


                              momentous day for the Society. Fellowships introduced. Reference Collection established.

                              RPSL President was H.R.H. the Prince of Wales. Membership stood at 242.

                             A Mellah was a walled Jewish  Quarter of a city in Morocco. It was initially developed to protect the

                             Jews from attacks by Arabs in the city. The postcard shown is from the French foreign post office in


                             the Tetouan Mellah. The opening date is not known but is surmised to be 1907. To date this is the

                              only known  cover or postcard  known  used  from this post office. The  cancel shown  is time coded

                             14.30 hours. Of the few cancels seen on piece or loose stamps, the time code seems to have been


                              done away with and replaced by an * somewhere between 1908 and 1913.
