* 9 8 0 8 NEWS [September 5-8, 1698)
These are to give notice, That on Wednesday the 7th instant, about 2 in the Morning, the Grand West Mail coming to
London, was robbed between Staines and Hounslow by 3 Men, and that 2 Bank-Bills, dated the 2d of June, 1698, Numb.
5427 and 5429 were supposed to be taken out of the same: Therefore all Persons are desired to stop the said Bills, if offered
in payment, and secure the Persons who shall tender the same; and give notice to the Secretary of the Post-Master-General,
at the Post-Office in Lombard-street, and he shall be well rewarded.

These are to give notice, That the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury have
ordered Money to the hands of Thomas Hall Esq; (pursuant to the late Act of Parliament in this behalf) for payment of the
Tallies of Pro or Assignment, or other Tallies levied on the Revenue of the Post-Office; and that the Persons concerned
may on Thursday the 22d Instant repair to the Post-Office for the Satisfaction of their said Tallies; and they are desired to
take notice, That His Majesty will not be liable to pay Interest after the Time that the Money is ready and reserved for
them.

These are to give notice, That the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury having some
time since ordered Money to the hands of Thomas Hall Esq; (pursuant to the late Act of Parliament in this behalf) for
payment of all the Tallies levied on the Post-Office, and on the Hereditary and Temporary Excise; and many Persons not
having yet come for their Money, though there has been several times Notice given in the Gazette, that Money is Reserv'd
for the said Tallies, and that the Interest was to cease from the Days therein mentioned; This is further to desire the
Persons possessed of the Tallies following, to come to the Excise-Office and receive their Money.
